Steeping

Unlike tea bags, loose leaf tea is NOT usually put into a cup and drank just like that.  Steeping requires a good deal of precision in regards to temperature, steeping apparatus, water quality, timing and quality of tea.  There are several ways to successfully brew tea, some easier and less complicated than others.  Though much of this is personal preference, the basics are a solid groundwork for you to work with to brew tea easily and efficiently.
