BIG Thank You and Newspaper

Big THANK YOU to woodie from TeaChat.com for sending me some tea samples he enjoys to try on the show!  Thanks so much dude!

Also, thanks to Adagio for a birthday surprise, including some great Chai samples as well as a new IngenuiTEA infuser!  You guys are the best :) .

One more thing, in addition to probably checking out Episode #31 (even in it’s bad streched out form), I’d like to point you to my first article for my college’s newspaper, The Campus!  Tried to write an informal, rather simple argument of loose leaf vs. bagged teas.  … Continue Reading

Leave it to Humphrey…. Casablanca Twist is a BUST

You know, I really wanted to like Casablanca Twist, I really did. It’s like that kid in high school that you pity and want to be friends with, but you just can’t. He would never mesh with your other friends, and then it leads to awkwardness. That’s what this is, an awkward tea. I’m not exactly sure WHAT CbT is supposed to be (I’m clever with acronyms, right?), but unless Adagio wanted to make an over-the-top mint tea, they’ve done their job, ten times over.

Like I said, … Continue Reading

Tea Review! Adagio’s Pu-Erh Poe.

Via Steepster:

Whenever I drink this tea I think of two things: Oatmeal and wheat. It almost smells some kind of organic building material (maybe bamboo?). For a pu-erh it’s not incredibly “dark” tasting, rather it is relatively light. It almost tastes like the old smell of my grandparents’ house (I kid you not!).

It gives me a bit of a surprise on my tongue, as it is kind of dull for a second, and then springs to (somewhat) of a life. Overall … Continue Reading

Review: Chestnut Black Tea by Adagio (Holiday Edition #2)

I received this from Adagio along with the other holiday blends, and I have to say, this is MUCH better than the previous Pumpkin Spice blend I had earlier today.

Okay, so it's a little early for this picture, but whatever.

Okay, so it's a little early for this picture, but whatever.

It’s taste does resemble chestnuts, though I would wager that it has more Vanilla in it than anything.  I also got an oak-like, or “smokey” taste in this tea, which I am guessing is the chestnuts.  I get … Continue Reading

Review: Adagio’s Pumpkin Spice Black Tea

Though I contemplated reading my Computer Organization literature, I decided to take a break to try one of Adagio’s fine seasonal products.  Though I have had seasonal teas in the past, none quite compare to this Black Tea, that which is full of flavor.

Pumpkin Spice

I’ll admit, I’m not really a big fan of Black Teas (though ironically it is the type of tea I started on), but I am always willing to try Adagio’s flavored stuff, as it is … Continue Reading

A look at Automatic Tea Makers

Zojirushi Tea Maker

Zojirushi Tea Maker

I was surfing on the Zorirushi website (okay, I was looking at Tea blogs, who am I kidding) and I came across this cool little teamaker.  I guess it’s called the Zojirushi CDJSC30 Superior Micom Dispensing Pot With Tea Press
(very creative name, right?) and it is quite sophisticated in its design.  Though there is no substitute for steeping tea yourself, sometimes us humans are just lazy and aren’t interested in getting … Continue Reading
